DOG SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Fun Activities that make dogs use their brain, are not just Fun & exercise they can work better as a calmative then just walks or pills !
Interactive sports build a solid connection between you & your dog.
How many of us don't realise that we walk our dog with little or no interaction?! Often without brain stimulation, especially if it's the same route or on-lead.
Activities are Particularly useful in nervey dogs, it makes them think, using a lot of energy, but also because it makes them feel they understand you & you understand them, that makes them feel safe.
We offer Hoopers, Agility, Scurry, Rally, Gun Dog; in classes or 121 for basic beginners foundation up to competition level.
HOOPERS
Hoopers is an extraordinary Enrichment low-impact sport. It's a progressive flow of low obstacles, that although exciting, can be as simple or complex as you need. It's both calmative & brain stimulant, & builds connection.
It extends beyond the canine lifecycle of the usual Agility Sport, because of its low impact & flexibility to include the fast & the furious as well as the plodder. It's excellent for puppies to veterans.
Dogs navigate barrels, tunnels, gates, chutes & hoops amongst other obstacles working with you to complete the course.
We offer beginners through to advanced hoopers training. All our instructors are qualified through CHW
For complete beginners, we offer beginners courses or 121 training.
Throughout our groups, we offer the opportunity to advance through canine Hoopers World Award levels (there are 12) testing yourself & your handling & dogs
AGILITY
A professionally instructed start to Agility is important, whether you're looking to do Agility for fun or competition. Correct Foundations reduce risk of injury, increase confidence & competence.
Grade 7 KC Agility Judge Sarah Gold runs both Foundations & Beginners for Pearlwynd. Foundations is low impact & suitable for dogs over 4m.
Beginners, over 12m, to protect joints.
Dogs must be friendly & recall.
RINGCRAFT
We run: Ringcraft Showing & Handling full day Workshops, Pay-as-You-go Ringcraft Training sessions & also Private 121s
We are lucky enough to contract one of the country's only Ringcraft Behaviourists. See Lynn Pallatina profile in Our Fab Team section, her successes at Crufts & those of her clients speak for themselves.
All day Workshops
Suitable for all breeds, from puppy to Veteran. We revive your stacks & movement; polish your handling skills; recap exercises to build peak condition in your dogs & much more.
Ringcraft 121
These sessions are personalised for your needs.
Issues in or outside the Ring e.g. sitting in the ring, or lack of confidence being handled by a judge
Handling techniques for beginners or to polish
Canine fitness & conditioning, ensure your dog is at peak fitness in the Ring
TRAINING WALKS
Primarily these run in the summer
These are fun walks that are not directed, they are simply a guided walk around our private grounds & possibly surrounding lanes & woodland. We practice our training & socialise.

OFF CAMPUS TRIPS
These are Training practice trips that are organised on set days, whilst usually in Summer, we have been known to do a winter Pub trip.

GUN DOG & SCURRY
We currently run Gun Dog 121 Training & 8-week specialised Gun Dog Puppy courses that are capped at 6 dogs due to the different nature of the Gun Dog Puppy course versus normal Puppy courses.
